La Familia Mexican Family Restaurant is family owned and operated restaurant. We Specialize in authentic Tex-Mexican cuisine with a family oriented atmosphere. The bar serves a stout Flaming Margarita and one of the best Michelada's in the metroplex! You can't drink just one; they're that good! We now also serve Breakfast on Saturdays beginning at 9:00 a.m. It's the new place to go for your always fresh, tasty menudo and authentic Mexican breakfast. Food was good. Nothing special. Especially for the price. Service was existant but not what I would describe as friendly or helpful. We almost felt like an inconvenience. Margaritas were really good tho. But overall experience was very poor. Would much rather go to another place to spend our money. Prolly won't be coming back.

We had a great experience! Our waiter was awesome! He was really great and checked in on us at just the right moments every time even though he was super busy. He treated us two boys right! As a gay couple we felt safe and comfortable.

I had been here once before and could not even get in. So many customers.So i tried again in the middle of the work day when the rush was over, and it was worth it!One of the family members shared the family history and explained some of the photos on the wall. The service and meal was the best!Now its been a few years and i was in town and could not forget this restaurant. So i stopped by again after the rush. Food was excellent! Service was 'spot on'.Also its clean and well maintained. I'd say if you're able stop by after lunch, before dinner.
